Clinical
This is an over-the-counter sunscreen lotion applied to the skin. It contains zinc oxide, a mineral UV filter commonly used in sunscreens to help reflect and scatter ultraviolet rays. The product is formulated as a broad-spectrum SPF 30 lotion, meaning it is typically used to protect skin from both UVA and UVB sun exposure. This is an OTC monograph drug, marketed under the FDA's established rules for sunscreen products.
