Clinical
Vicks PainQuil PM is an oral liquid pain reliever and sleep aid that combines acetaminophen and diphenhydramine hydrochloride. Acetaminophen is commonly used to reduce fever and relieve mild to moderate pain. Diphenhydramine hydrochloride is a first-generation antihistamine typically used as a nighttime sleep aid due to its sedating effects. This product is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for this category rather than through an individual application review.
