Clinical
Vitamin C Oil is an over-the-counter oil product applied to the skin. It contains ascorbic acid (vitamin C), which is typically used in skincare products for its antioxidant properties, along with lavender oil and squalane. Lavender oil is commonly included in cosmetic and personal care products for fragrance and skin conditioning, while squalane functions as an emollient to help soften and moisturize the skin. This is an OTC monograph product, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for this category of skin care oils.
