Nifedipine is an active pharmaceutical ingredient, not an excipient. If this appears as an inactive ingredient listing, it likely indicates the product contains nifedipine as its therapeutic component. Please verify the product label, as nifedipine is a calcium channel blocker used to treat high blood pressure and angina, not a formulation aid.
