Amphetamine Sulfate falls under AMPHETAMINES — the group 1,4-butanediol interacts with.

Theoretically, amphetamines may increase or decrease the therapeutic and adverse effects of 1,4-butanediol.
1,4-Butanediol is metabolized to gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB). Although some researchers have suggested that amphetamines may antagonize the effects of GHB, this has not been well studied. Also, some case reports suggest that concomitant use might increase the risk of severe side effects, including CNS and respiratory depression.

First, the big picture: 1,4-butanediol is not a real supplement. It is a toxic industrial chemical that your body turns into GHB, a strong depressant that can stop your breathing. It should never be swallowed at all, with or without your amphetamine.

As for the mix itself, the honest answer is that it is murky and based only on scattered case reports, not solid studies. Amphetamine sulfate is a stimulant (it can cause a racing heart, high blood pressure, jitteriness, and trouble sleeping), while GHB does the opposite and sedates you. They may partly cancel each other, but some reports show the combo actually worsened dangerous slowing of breathing and the nervous system. You can't predict which way it goes.
