Allspice + Ibuprofen
Ibuprofen brand names: Motrin, Children's Motrin, Advil, Children's Advil, Fenbid Forte Gel, and others.
Allspice has a moderate interaction with Ibuprofen. Theoretically, combining allspice with an antiplatelet or anticoagulant drug might increase the risk of bleeding.

ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Ibuprofen
Ibuprofen falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Allspice interacts with.
Eugenol, a constituent of allspice, is reported to have antiplatelet activity. However, this interaction has yet not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for ibuprofen and allspice. Ibuprofen is an NSAID, and one of its known quirks is that it makes platelets a little less sticky, which is why it can raise bleeding risk on its own (think easier bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach irritation). Allspice contains eugenol, which in lab studies seems to nudge platelets in that same direction. Stacked together, the theory is they could add up and slightly bump your bleeding risk.
I want to be honest, though: this is theoretical, based on how the compounds behave in the lab, not on real cases in people. The pinch you sprinkle in cooking is very unlikely to matter. Concentrated allspice extracts or essential oil are the bigger question mark. If you take ibuprofen often or use a blood thinner, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Ibuprofen page
“Most people treat ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) as an everyday pain reliever, which is exactly why this list of 286 interacting supplements deserves real attention rather than a shrug. The dominant pattern by far is bleeding: 202 of these ingredients can add to the bleeding and stomach irritation ibuprofen already causes, and the seven maj…”

About Allspice
What is Allspice?
- Digestive upset and gas
- Muscle and joint pain (topical)
- Toothache and oral discomfort
- Antimicrobial uses
- Flavoring in food and drinks
Allspice is a popular cooking spice from a Caribbean evergreen tree that has long been used in folk medicine for digestion, pain, and infections. There is very little high-quality human research to support these medicinal uses, so it is best thought of as a flavorful food rather than a proven treatment. Amounts used in cooking are generally considered safe, but concentrated extracts and the essential oil should be used carefully.
About Ibuprofen
What Is Ibuprofen Used For?
Brand names: Motrin, Children's Motrin, Advil, Children's Advil, Fenbid Forte Gel, Ibugel Forte, Arthrofen, Ebufac, Rimafen, Calprofen, Fenpaed, Galprofen, Nurofen for Children, Orbifen for Children, Brufen, Brufen Retard, Fenbid, Tab-Profen, Ibuprofen, Calodor
Oral ibuprofen products (tablets, coated tablets, and liquid-filled capsules) are used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains from headache, backache, toothache, muscular aches, menstrual cramps, minor arthritis pain, and the common cold, and to temporarily reduce fever. The oral prescription tablet (Ibu) is also indicated for the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, mild to moderate pain, and primary dysmenorrhea (painful periods).
Caldolor, an intravenous (IV) form, is approved for adults and children 3 months and older to manage mild to moderate pain, to manage moderate to severe pain alongside opioid pain medicines, and to reduce fever. A separate intravenous solution, Ibuprofen Lysine, is used specifically in premature infants to close a patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) — an abnormal blood vessel connection near the heart — when standard medical management has not worked.

Ibuprofen Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Ibuprofen as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Allspice — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
