Estradiol falls under ESTROGENS — the group Androstenedione interacts with.

Theoretically, androstenedione might increase the effects and adverse effects of estrogens.
Androstenedione is a precursor to estrogen and seems to increase estrogen levels. However, androstenedione is converted to estrogen only in low estrogen environments. Patients taking estrogen do not have low estrogen levels because of the estrogen treatment. Therefore, androstenedione is unlikely to be converted to estrogen in these patients. However, until more is known, use with caution or avoid using.

Here's the simple version. Your body can turn androstenedione into estrogen, so the worry is that stacking it on top of your Estradiol could push your estrogen levels a little higher than intended. In theory, that might mean more estrogen-type effects or side effects, like breast tenderness, bloating, nausea, headaches, or spotting.

The reassuring part: this is only a theoretical concern based on how these hormones work, not from real studies in people on estrogen. In fact, androstenedione mostly converts to estrogen when your levels are low, and yours aren't low while you're being treated. Still, because it's an unproven, risky supplement (and banned in sports), it's wise to skip it. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
