Blood Type Diet + Treprostinil (Inh)
Treprostinil (Inh) brand name: Tyvaso.
We found no known interaction between Blood Type Diet and Treprostinil (Inh) in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first.
Blood Type Diet and Treprostinil (Inh)
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Treprostinil (Inh) and Blood Type Diet in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — research on Blood Type Diet alongside specific medications may be limited.
Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Blood Type Diet at all — not against Treprostinil (Inh), and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.
Blood Type Diet is an eating pattern rather than something you take. Ask your pharmacist or doctor before changing how you eat while on a prescribed medicine: some medicines are dosed around meals, and a change in diet can change how they work. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Treprostinil (Inh) page
“Inhaled treprostinil (Tyvaso) relaxes blood vessels in the lungs to treat pulmonary hypertension, and it also blunts platelet clotting, which is why this list of 275 ingredients warrants real vigilance rather than a shrug. Two themes cover almost everything.”

Where Blood Type Diet and Treprostinil (Inh) Sit Against Everything Else

#2,385 of 2,830 medications looked up here in the last 7 days

- What “no known interaction” means: no documented interaction in the sources above — not a guarantee of safety. Supplements are studied far less than prescription drugs, so we say exactly what the evidence supports, and nothing more.
About Blood Type Diet
What is Blood Type Diet?
- Weight loss
- General wellness
- Heart health
- Digestive health
- Reducing inflammation
The Blood Type Diet claims that eating foods matched to your ABO blood type improves health and weight, but good-quality studies have not shown that blood type determines who benefits from a given diet. Any health improvements people see are more likely from simply eating more whole, unprocessed foods. Talk to a pharmacist or doctor before making big changes, especially if you have a health condition.
Eating plan (whole-food diet based on ABO blood type)
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Blood Type Diet is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Blood Type Diet record says about it on its own.
Blood Type Diet: dosing
There is no "dose" for the Blood Type Diet — it is an eating pattern, not a pill. Followers are given food lists for their blood type and adjust meals accordingly. If you want to try it, focus on the healthy parts (more whole foods, fewer processed foods) and make sure you still get a full range of nutrients. A pharmacist, doctor, or registered dietitian can help you plan a balanced version and decide whether any supplement, such as a multivitamin, is needed.

About Treprostinil Oral Inhalation
What Is Treprostinil Oral Inhalation Used For?
Brand name: Tyvaso
Treprostinil oral inhalation is used to treat two serious lung conditions that raise pressure in the blood vessels of the lungs. It helps improve how much physical activity you can do.
Tyvaso inhalation solution and Tyvaso DPI are both indicated to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH; WHO Group 1) and pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD; WHO Group 3). Studies in PH-ILD primarily included patients with idiopathic interstitial pneumonia, combined pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema, or connective tissue disease-related lung disease.

Treprostinil (Inh) Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Treprostinil (Inh) as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Blood Type Diet — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
