Ritlecitinib (Litfulo) is a medicine that calms down an overactive immune system, which is how it helps regrow hair in severe alopecia areata. Here's the catch: blue-green algae like spirulina seem to do the opposite. In lab studies they've been shown to rev up the immune system. So in theory, taking them together could work against each other and make your ritlecitinib less effective, meaning you might not see the hair regrowth you're hoping for.

I want to be honest with you, though: this concern comes only from lab and animal research, not from studies in people, so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. Still, since the two point in opposite directions, I'd run it past your dermatologist or pharmacist before adding blue-green algae.
