Avanafil falls under PHOSPHODIESTERASE-5 INHIBITORS — the group Butea Superba interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist: avanafil (Stendra) already works by relaxing blood vessels so more blood can flow into the penis. Butea superba is thought to do something similar in the lab, possibly blocking the same kind of enzyme and widening blood vessels too. So if you take both at once, the worry is that their effects could stack up and drop your blood pressure more than expected.
That could show up as lightheadedness, dizziness, headache, flushing, or feeling faint, especially when you stand up quickly. I'll be honest with you though: this concern is theoretical, based on how the herb behaves in test tubes, not on solid human studies. Still, because both target blood flow, I'd play it safe and check with your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.
