Insulin Aspart falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Capers interacts with.

Some preliminary clinical research shows that taking caper fruit extract 1200 mg daily for 2 months can lower fasting blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in patients with type 2 diabetes who are already taking antidiabetes drugs. However, other research does not support this effect. Until more is known, monitor blood glucose levels closely. Medication dose adjustments may be necessary.
Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Here's the practical takeaway for your Fiasp (insulin aspart). Some early research found that a concentrated caper fruit extract (about 1200 mg a day) may modestly lower fasting blood sugar and HbA1c in people with type 2 diabetes who are already on diabetes medicine. Other studies didn't see this effect, so the evidence is still shaky. If a caper supplement does nudge your blood sugar down, stacking it on top of your mealtime insulin could push you too low.

That matters because low blood sugar from insulin can cause shakiness, sweating, dizziness, confusion, or a fast heartbeat. Eating capers as food is unlikely to do this. If you're considering a concentrated extract, check with your pharmacist or doctor first and watch your numbers closely. Don't change your insulin dose on your own.

What Is Insulin Aspart (rDNA Origin) Injection Used For?

Brand name: Fiasp

Insulin aspart is used to improve blood sugar (glucose) control in people with diabetes mellitus. It is approved for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes in adults, and for diabetes mellitus in pediatric patients.

Insulin Aspart Protamine and Insulin Aspart Mix 70/30 is a pre-mixed product that combines a rapid-acting and an intermediate-acting insulin aspart. It is approved to improve blood sugar control in adult patients with diabetes mellitus. It is not recommended for treating diabetic ketoacidosis, and because its ratio of rapid-acting to intermediate-acting insulin is fixed, it does not allow for separate mealtime versus background dose adjustments.
