    Preliminary clinical research shows that taking caper fruit extract 400 mg three times daily for 2 months reduces fasting blood glucose by 20 mg/dL and improves glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) by 0.4% when compared to baseline in patients with type 2 diabetes who are already taking antidiabetes drugs. These improvements were significant when compared with the placebo group.
