Glyburide, Metformin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Capers interacts with.

Some preliminary clinical research shows that taking caper fruit extract 1200 mg daily for 2 months can lower fasting blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in patients with type 2 diabetes who are already taking antidiabetes drugs. However, other research does not support this effect. Until more is known, monitor blood glucose levels closely. Medication dose adjustments may be necessary.
Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Here's the thing to keep in mind with Glucovance (the combination of glyburide and metformin): both of those medicines already work to bring your blood sugar down. Some early research suggests concentrated caper fruit extract, around 1200 mg a day, may lower fasting glucose and HbA1c a bit on its own. Stack that on top of your medication and your sugar could dip lower than expected.

If that happens, you might feel shaky, sweaty, dizzy, hungry, or confused, classic signs of low blood sugar (more so from the glyburide part). The evidence here is modest and mixed, so I wouldn't panic. Eating capers as food is very unlikely to matter. If you're thinking about a caper supplement, check your readings closely and loop in your doctor or pharmacist first.
