Here's the simple version: Glucovance combines two diabetes medicines, glyburide and metformin, that both work to lower your blood sugar. Caraway, at least in animal studies, may nudge blood sugar a little lower too. Put them together and there's a theoretical chance your sugar could dip more than expected, which can leave you feeling shaky, sweaty, dizzy, or unusually tired.

I want to be honest about the evidence here: this is based on lab and animal research, not solid human studies, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. The caraway in your soup or bread is very unlikely to matter. Concentrated caraway oil or capsules are where I'd be a bit more cautious. If you're starting one, keep an eye on your blood sugar and check in with your pharmacist or doctor first.
