Here's a little twist worth understanding. Dasiglucagon (Zegalogue) is actually a rescue medicine you use to raise a dangerously low blood sugar in an emergency. It tells your liver to dump stored sugar into your bloodstream. Chinese Mallow, on the other hand, has shown some blood-sugar-lowering activity, but only in animal and lab studies, so this is theoretical and not proven in people.

In practice, the bigger picture is that Chinese Mallow may nudge blood sugar down, which matters more for your daily diabetes medicines than for a one-time rescue dose. When you actually need dasiglucagon, take it as directed. I wouldn't expect the mallow to block it. Still, mention any supplements you take to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on your sugars.

Zegalogue is used to treat severe hypoglycemia — a dangerously low blood sugar episode — in adults and children aged 6 years and older who have diabetes. Severe hypoglycemia is a medical emergency that requires immediate action.

Zegalogue is not a day-to-day diabetes medicine. It is prescribed as an emergency kit to be on hand in case a person with diabetes becomes unresponsive or cannot safely swallow food or juice to raise their blood sugar.
