Craniosacral Therapy and Pitavastatin

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Pitavastatin and Craniosacral Therapy in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — research on Craniosacral Therapy alongside specific medications may be limited.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Craniosacral Therapy at all — not against Pitavastatin, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

Craniosacral Therapy is a treatment rather than something you take. Tell whoever provides it which medicines you use, and ask your prescriber whether it is appropriate for your health and treatment. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

From the ADVERSE REACTIONS section of the FDA label for Pitavastatin. Read the label on DailyMed › Where a percentage is shown, it is the share of 10,051 voluntary FDA FAERS reports for Pitavastatin that mention that effect — a reporting proportion, not an incidence rate and not evidence the drug caused it. Craniosacral Therapy’s licensed record lists no adverse effects our clinical vocabulary could match, so there is no Craniosacral Therapy side to compare — that is a limit of the record, not a statement that Craniosacral Therapy has no side effects.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Pitavastatin page

“Liver strain runs through the serious end of pitavastatin's (Zypitamag, Nikita) supplement interactions, and this list deserves real care rather than a quick skim. About Craniosacral Therapy

What is Craniosacral Therapy?

  • Headaches and migraines
  • Neck and back pain
  • Stress and tension relief
  • TMJ (jaw) discomfort
  • General relaxation and well-being

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on bodywork technique that uses very light touch on the head, spine, and pelvis. It is generally low-risk and may help some people feel relaxed, but high-quality evidence that it treats specific medical conditions is limited and weak. Talk with your doctor before using it in place of proven care.

Not applicable (this is a hands-on therapy, not a plant or supplement) · Hands-on manual therapy sessions performed by a trained practitioner

An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Craniosacral Therapy is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Craniosacral Therapy record says about it on its own.

Craniosacral Therapy: dosing

There is no standardized "dose" for craniosacral therapy because it is a hands-on service, not a product you swallow. Session length and how many sessions are recommended vary by practitioner and the reason for the visit. If you decide to try CST, choose a licensed and trained practitioner, ask about their qualifications, and discuss your goals and any health conditions first.
