Epiandrosterone + Enalapril Maleate
Enalapril Maleate brand names: Vasotec, Epaned.
We found no known interaction between Epiandrosterone and Enalapril Maleate in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first.
Epiandrosterone and Enalapril Maleate
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Enalapril Maleate and Epiandrosterone in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.
Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Epiandrosterone at all — not against Enalapril Maleate, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.
If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.
Epiandrosterone safety at a glance

Epiandrosterone in Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
When used orally. Anabolic androgenic steroids, such as epiandrosterone, can disrupt the body's hormonal balance and cause various adverse effects including reduced fertility, hair loss, acne, and behavioral changes. Anabolic androgenic steroid use has also been associated with hepatotoxicity and increased risk for heart disease. The US Food and Drug Administration and other regulatory agencies warn that dietary supplements containing anabolic steroids are dangerous. Avoid using.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Enalapril Maleate page
“Potassium is the supplement I worry about first with enalapril maleate (Vasotec, Epaned). This ACE inhibitor, used for high blood pressure and heart failure, already makes the body hold onto potassium, so adding more can raise blood levels too far, a problem called hyperkalemia.”

About Epiandrosterone
What is Epiandrosterone?
- Muscle building and strength
- Bodybuilding 'prohormone' supplement
- Boosting androgen/DHT levels
- Athletic performance
- Fat loss and body recomposition
Epiandrosterone is a steroid-related compound (a metabolite of DHEA) sold as a 'prohormone' supplement, mostly for muscle building and athletic performance. There is very little high-quality human research showing it works, it can carry hormone-related side effects, and it may cause a positive result on drug tests, so caution is strongly advised.

An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Epiandrosterone is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Epiandrosterone record says about it on its own.
Epiandrosterone: dosing
There is no established, medically recommended dose for epiandrosterone. It has not been studied well enough to define a safe and effective amount. If a product is used, follow the directions on the label and do not exceed them.

About Enalapril
What Is Enalapril Used For?
Brand names: Vasotec, Epaned
Enalapril treats high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of strokes and heart attacks.
It also treats symptomatic heart failure. It is used for asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction (a weak pumping chamber of the heart without symptoms) to slow the development of overt heart failure and reduce hospital stays for heart failure. Enalapril oral solution (including Epaned) is labeled for high blood pressure in adults and children older than one month.

Enalapril Maleate Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Enalapril Maleate as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Epiandrosterone — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
