Fat Smash Diet + Cefixime
Cefixime brand name: Suprax.
We found no known interaction between Fat Smash Diet and Cefixime in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first.
Fat Smash Diet and Cefixime
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Cefixime and Fat Smash Diet in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — research on Fat Smash Diet alongside specific medications may be limited.
Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Fat Smash Diet at all — not against Cefixime, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.
Fat Smash Diet is an eating pattern rather than something you take. Ask your pharmacist or doctor before changing how you eat while on a prescribed medicine: some medicines are dosed around meals, and a change in diet can change how they work. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.
Fat Smash Diet safety at a glance
Safety guidance is general; always confirm with your pharmacist or doctor for your situation.
See Every Supplement That Interacts With Cefixime
This page covers Fat Smash Diet only. If you take other supplements — a multivitamin, a sleep aid, something for joints — the Cefixime page lists 60 supplements it has a documented interaction with, worst first, each one explained.
The most serious there right now: Activated Charcoal (major), Asarabacca (major), Siberian Cocklebur (major), African Wild Potato (moderate) and Aristolochia (moderate).
By severity: 3 major · 46 moderate · 11 minor.
From our pharmacist’s overview on the Cefixime page
“Cefixime (Suprax) is an oral antibiotic for bacterial infections, and this list of 60 supplements and herbs deserves a careful read, because three entries are rated major. Siberian cocklebur and asarabacca can both damage the kidneys, and activated charcoal can soak up the antibiotic in your gut so less of it reaches your blood.”

Where Fat Smash Diet and Cefixime Sit Against Everything Else
Out of every supplement and medication people look up on HelloPharmacist, here is where these two land this week — and which way each has been moving.
#1,402 of 1,452 supplements looked up here in the last 7 days
#527 of 2,830 medications looked up here in the last 7 days
Position among everything looked up on this site, not a measure of how commonly either one is used or how important it is. A supplement can climb this list because of a news story. It counts every request to the page, automated ones included, and nothing here identifies anyone.
Where does our data come from?
- Source: the Natural Medicines (TRC Healthcare) clinical database — the evidence-graded professional reference for herb & supplement interactions. Fat Smash Diet is not yet covered by that licensed database, so its write-up cites publicly available medical sources directly (see the references below).
- Citation library: 103,510 references behind our interaction content, 65,311 of them resolved to verified PubMed/DOI sources. See every Fat Smash Diet reference on this page ↓
- Freshness: we automatically re-check this combination every week — this pair was last verified October 4, 2026. The Fat Smash Diet and Cefixime records this page draws on were last updated June 22, 2026.
- What “no known interaction” means: no documented interaction in the sources above — not a guarantee of safety. Supplements are studied far less than prescription drugs, so we say exactly what the evidence supports, and nothing more.
About Fat Smash Diet
What is Fat Smash Diet?
- Weight loss
- Building healthier eating habits
- Reducing processed food intake
- Jump-starting a lifestyle change
The Fat Smash Diet is a phased weight-loss eating plan, not a supplement or herb. It promotes whole foods, portion control, and gradual habit change, which can help some people lose weight, but it works best alongside regular exercise and long-term lifestyle changes. Talk with your doctor or a dietitian before starting any restrictive diet.
Structured eating plan (book, meal programs)
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Fat Smash Diet is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Fat Smash Diet record says about it on its own.
Fat Smash Diet: dosing
There is no pill, tea, or capsule dose for the Fat Smash Diet because it is an eating plan, not a supplement. "Dosing" instead means following the plan's phases and food guidelines. If you choose to try it, follow the instructions in the official book or program, and aim for balanced meals with enough protein, fiber, and nutrients. A registered dietitian can help you adjust the plan to your calorie needs and health goals.

About Cefixime
What Is Cefixime Used For?
Brand name: Suprax
Cefixime treats infections caused by susceptible bacteria. Uses include uncomplicated urinary tract infections, pharyngitis and tonsillitis (sore throat and tonsil infections), acute flare-ups of chronic bronchitis, and uncomplicated gonorrhea of the cervix or urethra.
Otitis media (middle ear infection) is listed for cefixime capsules and cefixime for oral suspension, but not for cefixime tablets. It does not work on viruses, so it should only be used for infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be bacterial.
Most-Reported Side Effects for Cefixime
From FAERS, the FDA’s public side-effect reporting system (0 reports, all brands). Reports are voluntary and are not proof the drug caused the effect.

Cefixime Is Linked to Lower Levels of 7 Nutrients
Natural Medicines records Cefixime as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Fat Smash Diet — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
