Alefacept falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Greater Celandine interacts with.

Preliminary clinical research suggests that taking a specific semi-synthetic derivative of the greater celandine constituent chelidonine (Ukrain; not available in North America) might stimulate immune responses in cancer patients. Theoretically, taking greater celandine might decrease the effects of immunosuppressive therapy. Immunosuppressant drugs include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), and other corticosteroids (glucocorticoids).

Here's the idea behind this one. Alefacept (Amevive) works by calming down part of your immune system, which is how it helps clear stubborn plaque psoriasis. Greater celandine, on the other hand, has been studied in a lab-made form that seemed to rev up immune activity. So the theoretical worry is that the herb could push against what alefacept is trying to do, possibly making it work less well and letting your psoriasis flare back up.

I want to be honest that this is a theoretical concern based on how these things behave, not on real-world cases with alefacept. That said, greater celandine has also been tied to serious liver injury, which is reason enough to be cautious. Please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
