Codeine Phosphate, Pseudoephedrine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Greater Celandine interacts with.

Research in vitro shows that chelidonine, a constituent of greater celandine, inhibits cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) enzyme activity. Theoretically, greater celandine might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP2D6 include amitriptyline (Elavil), clozapine (Clozaril), codeine, desipramine (Norpramin), donepezil (Aricept), fentanyl (Duragesic), flecainide (Tambocor), fluoxetine (Prozac), meperidine (Demerol), methadone (Dolophine), metoprolol (Lopressor, Toprol XL), olanzapine (Zyprexa), ondansetron (Zofran), tramadol (Ultram), trazodone (Desyrel), and many others.

Here's the wrinkle with this combo: codeine is actually a prodrug. Your body needs an enzyme called CYP2D6 to turn codeine into morphine, which is what actually relieves your pain or quiets a cough. Greater celandine, at least in lab studies, appears to block that same enzyme. So instead of building up, codeine may not convert well, and you could get less pain or cough relief than expected.

I'll be honest with you, this is only based on test-tube research, not real patients, so it's more theoretical than proven. The pseudoephedrine part isn't really involved here. Given that greater celandine has also been tied to serious liver damage, I'd run this past your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
