Risankizumab-Rzaa falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Greater Celandine interacts with.

Preliminary clinical research suggests that taking a specific semi-synthetic derivative of the greater celandine constituent chelidonine (Ukrain; not available in North America) might stimulate immune responses in cancer patients. Theoretically, taking greater celandine might decrease the effects of immunosuppressive therapy. Immunosuppressant drugs include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), and other corticosteroids (glucocorticoids).

Here's the gist with Skyrizi (risankizumab-rzaa): it's an injected antibody that calms down an overactive immune system to ease plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, or Crohn's disease. Greater celandine, on the other hand, has been studied (mostly in a lab-made form not even sold here) for possibly revving up immune activity. The worry is that the herb could pull in the opposite direction and blunt how well Skyrizi works, meaning your skin patches, joint pain, or gut symptoms might creep back.

I want to be honest that this is theoretical, based on how things behave on paper rather than solid studies in people. Still, greater celandine also carries a real risk of serious liver injury, so I'd skip it and check with your doctor or pharmacist before adding any supplement.

About Risankizumab-rzaa Injection

What Is Risankizumab-rzaa Injection Used For?

Brand name: Skyrizi

Skyrizi (risankizumab-rzaa) injection is approved to treat moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis and active psoriatic arthritis in adults and children 6 years of age and older. It is also approved for moderately to severely active Crohn's disease and moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis in adults.

For plaque psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, Skyrizi is given as a subcutaneous (under-the-skin) injection. For Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, Skyrizi treatment begins with intravenous (IV) infusions given in a clinical setting, followed by subcutaneous maintenance injections.
