Here's a helpful tip about Haloprogin (Halotex): this one is actually a topical antifungal, meaning you apply it to your skin to treat things like athlete's foot or ringworm. The guar gum interaction on file is about oral medicines that you swallow, where the fiber gel can grab onto the drug in your gut and slow down how much gets absorbed.

Since Haloprogin works right on the skin and isn't swallowed, guar gum taken as a supplement really shouldn't change how well your cream or solution clears up the infection. If you ever do take guar gum with pills you swallow, a good habit is to space them out, with the guar gum about 30 to 60 minutes after the medicine. When in doubt, just check with your pharmacist.
