Here's something a little different about this pairing. Malt soup extract (Maltsupex) is itself a gentle, bulk-forming fiber laxative used to soften stools and keep you regular. Guar gum is also a fiber that swells into a thick gel in your gut. So you're really looking at two fibers working in the same space rather than one drug being chewed up by the other.

The main thing I'd watch is overlap. Taking both together can mean more gas, bloating, or cramping, and both need plenty of water to work safely and avoid any sense of fullness or blockage. There's no concerning absorption problem here since malt soup extract isn't absorbed for a body-wide effect. Still, run your full routine past your pharmacist so they can space and dose things sensibly.
