Here's the thing to keep in mind with these two. Piperazine citrate is an oral medicine you swallow to clear out intestinal worms, so it has to be absorbed properly from your gut to do its job. Guar gum forms a thick gel in your stomach and intestines, and that same gel can grab onto medications and slow or reduce how much of them gets soaked up.

If guar gum blunts the absorption of your piperazine, you may simply get a weaker effect, meaning the worms might not be fully cleared. The simple fix is timing. Take your piperazine first, then wait about 30 to 60 minutes before your guar gum. Food amounts of fiber are usually no big deal, but concentrated supplements are where this matters most. Run the timing by your pharmacist or doctor to be safe.
