Here's a bit of good news for you. The interaction on file is about guar gum slowing the absorption of medicines you swallow, like metformin or penicillin. But Revefenacin (Yupelri) isn't a pill you take by mouth. It's a liquid you breathe in through a nebulizer, so it goes straight to your lungs and never has to be absorbed through your stomach or gut.

Because guar gum acts as a gel in your digestive tract, it really shouldn't touch how well your inhaled Revefenacin works for your COPD breathing symptoms. If you also take any oral medicines, that's where the timing tip matters: take them about 30 to 60 minutes before your guar gum. When in doubt, your pharmacist can review your full list with you.

Yupelri (revefenacin) inhalation solution is approved for the maintenance treatment of COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) in adults. It is used every day to help keep airways open and make breathing easier over the long term.

Yupelri is not a rescue inhaler — it will not relieve a sudden COPD flare-up or acute breathing attack. A separate short-acting bronchodilator is needed for those situations.
