Halodrol-50 and Itraconazole

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Itraconazole and Halodrol-50 in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Halodrol-50 at all — not against Itraconazole, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

Halodrol-50’s licensed record lists no adverse effects our clinical vocabulary could match, so there is no Halodrol-50 side to compare — that is a limit of the record, not a statement that Halodrol-50 has no side effects.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Itraconazole page

“Serious fungal infections are what itraconazole (Sporanox, Tolsura) is for, and the drug travels through CYP3A4, the liver enzyme that also handles a large share of supplements. That overlap is why this list reaches 182 ingredients, and it earns genuine care; start with the six rated major.”

About Halodrol-50

What is Halodrol-50?

  • Building muscle mass
  • Increasing strength
  • Bodybuilding and athletic performance
  • Body recomposition

Halodrol-50 is a brand-name 'prohormone' designer supplement, not an herb, that was marketed to build muscle and strength. Older versions contained synthetic anabolic steroid-like compounds that were later banned in the United States, and these substances carry real risks of liver injury and hormone disruption. Because product formulas have changed over time and ingredients can be unpredictable, we recommend avoiding it and talking with your pharmacist or doctor before using any prohormone product.

About Itraconazole

What Is Itraconazole Used For?

Brand names: Sporanox, Sporanox Injection, Tolsura

Itraconazole capsules (including Sporanox capsules and generic itraconazole capsules) treat serious fungal infections — blastomycosis, histoplasmosis, and aspergillosis — in both people with normal immune systems and those who are immunocompromised. Capsule forms are also approved for nail fungus (onychomycosis) caused by dermatophytes in non-immunocompromised patients. Tolsura (a gelatin-coated capsule formulation) treats blastomycosis, histoplasmosis, and aspergillosis in adults, but is not approved for nail fungus and is not interchangeable with other itraconazole products.

Itraconazole oral solution is specifically approved for oropharyngeal candidiasis (thrush — a fungal infection of the mouth) and esophageal candidiasis (a fungal infection of the food pipe). Only the oral solution has been shown to work for these mouth and throat infections; capsules cannot be substituted for this use.
