Hexadrone and Ibuprofen

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Ibuprofen and Hexadrone in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Hexadrone at all — not against Ibuprofen, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

What Ibuprofen’s Own FDA Label Lists

This is not an interaction — none of it involves Hexadrone. These are the most notable effects listed in the ADVERSE REACTIONS section of Ibuprofen’s own FDA label, for the medication by itself. Knowing the drug’s own list makes it easier to work out the likely cause if something new turns up while you take both. 8 of them are worth acting on rather than waiting out — marked below.

  • Bleeding in the gut Worth acting on
  • High potassium Worth acting on
  • Heart failure Worth acting on
  • Kidney problems Worth acting on
  • Anemia Worth acting on
  • Raised blood pressure Worth acting on
  • Liver problems Worth acting on

From the ADVERSE REACTIONS section of the FDA label for Ibuprofen. Read the label on DailyMed › Where a percentage is shown, it is the share of 283,500 voluntary FDA FAERS reports for Ibuprofen that mention that effect — a reporting proportion, not an incidence rate and not evidence the drug caused it. Hexadrone’s licensed record lists no adverse effects our clinical vocabulary could match, so there is no Hexadrone side to compare — that is a limit of the record, not a statement that Hexadrone has no side effects.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Ibuprofen page

“Most people treat ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) as an everyday pain reliever, which is exactly why this list of 286 interacting supplements deserves real attention rather than a shrug. About Hexadrone

What is Hexadrone?

  • Muscle building (bodybuilding)
  • Strength gains
  • Body recomposition
  • Athletic performance

Hexadrone is a synthetic oral anabolic steroid (a 'prosteroid' or designer steroid) marketed in bodybuilding supplements, not a natural herb or vitamin. It is not an approved drug, its safety has not been established in proper human studies, and like other anabolic steroids it can stress the liver, cholesterol, and hormones. We do not recommend using it, and you should talk to a doctor or pharmacist before considering any product containing it.

Synthetic compound (not a plant part) · Capsules, tablets

An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Hexadrone is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Hexadrone record says about it on its own.

Hexadrone: dosing

There is no established, medically recommended dose for Hexadrone, because it is not an approved medicine and has not been properly studied in humans. The doses suggested on product labels or in online forums are not backed by safety testing.Because of the real health risks, our pharmacist guidance is to not use this compound.

The oral prescription tablet (Ibu) is also indicated for the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, mild to moderate pain, and primary dysmenorrhea (painful periods).

Caldolor, an intravenous (IV) form, is approved for adults and children 3 months and older to manage mild to moderate pain, to manage moderate to severe pain alongside opioid pain medicines, and to reduce fever. A separate intravenous solution, Ibuprofen Lysine, is used specifically in premature infants to close a patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) — an abnormal blood vessel connection near the heart — when standard medical management has not worked.
