Terconazole brand name: Terazole.

No Known Interaction
The bottom line No known interaction

We found no known interaction between Inosine and Terconazole in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Inosine and Terconazole

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Terconazole and Inosine in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.

If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

Inosine safety at a glance

Inosine overall Use caution Inosine raises uric acid, which may be a problem for people with gout or kidney issues.
Pregnancy Avoid There is not enough safety information, so it is best avoided during pregnancy.
Breastfeeding Avoid Safety while breastfeeding is unknown, so avoid use.

Safety guidance is general; always confirm with your pharmacist or doctor for your situation.

How we checked

Why No Interaction Is Listed for Terconazole

Interactions in our licensed database are recorded against drug classes, not just single drug names. Terconazole is filed under 2 classifications — antifungals, oral drugs. Inosine has documented interactions with 1 drug class — the most serious being antigout drugs (moderate) — and none of Terconazole’s classifications are among them.

Classification data comes from our licensed Natural Medicines dataset. A medication can belong to classes beyond those recorded there, so this describes how the check was run — it is not a safety guarantee.

What Inosine Itself Has Been Linked To

This is not an interaction — nothing below involves Terconazole. It is the side-effect record for Inosine on its own, from the licensed Natural Medicines monograph. If something new turns up after you add Inosine, this list is the first place to look. 2 entries are worth acting on rather than waiting out — marked below.

Everything above comes from the Natural Medicines adverse-effect record for Inosine — expand a row for the licensed statement it rests on. We read the ADVERSE REACTIONS section of Terconazole’s FDA label too, and the two lists don’t meaningfully overlap — which is why no Terconazole column appears here.

See Every Supplement That Interacts With Terconazole

This page covers Inosine only. If you take other supplements — a multivitamin, a sleep aid, something for joints — the Terconazole page lists 20 supplements it has a documented interaction with, worst first, each one explained.

The most serious there right now: Activated Charcoal (major), Coffee Charcoal (moderate), European Mandrake (moderate), Glucomannan (moderate) and Guar Gum (moderate).

By severity: 1 major · 7 moderate · 12 minor.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Terconazole page

“Terconazole (Terazole) is a vaginal antifungal for yeast infections, and its supplement list earns genuine caution because of one standout: activated charcoal, the only major-rated interaction among the 20 on file. Charcoal binds many medicines and can lower their levels even when a drug is not taken by mouth, which makes it the entry…”

About Inosine

What is Inosine?

  • Athletic performance and energy
  • Multiple sclerosis (raising uric acid)
  • Parkinson's disease (raising uric acid)
  • General health and recovery

Inosine is a nucleoside (a building block of DNA and RNA) that the body makes on its own and is also sold as a supplement, mostly marketed for athletic performance. Solid evidence that it boosts exercise performance is lacking, and because it raises uric acid levels, it may pose risks for people with gout or kidney problems. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using it.

Not applicable; inosine is a naturally occurring compound (a nucleoside), not a plant part · Capsules, tablets, powder

An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Inosine is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Inosine record says about it on its own.

Inosine: dosing

There is no well-established, standardized dose of inosine. Amounts used in studies have varied, and there is no proven safe or effective dose for general use.If you choose to use an inosine product, follow the directions on the label and do not exceed the recommended amount. Do not assume that taking more will give better results.

About Terconazole

What Is Terconazole Used For?

Brand name: Terazole

Terconazole vaginal cream and vaginal suppositories are both indicated for the local treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis — commonly known as a vaginal yeast infection caused by Candida species. Because these products only work against Candida, a healthcare provider should confirm the diagnosis before or during treatment.

Before starting a second course of treatment with terconazole vaginal suppositories, the diagnosis should be re-confirmed by lab tests and other possible causes of symptoms should be ruled out.
