Here's the concern with pairing these two: cyclosporine can be tough on the liver on its own, and Ligandrol (an unapproved SARM) has been linked in several case reports to liver injury too. Put them together and you may be stacking two stresses on the same organ, which could raise your odds of liver problems. Watch for things like yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, nausea, or unusual tiredness.

To be honest, this isn't about cyclosporine being broken down differently. It's a simple additive risk, and the evidence is mostly anecdotal (case reports), so it's a theoretical worry rather than a proven one. Still, cyclosporine already requires careful monitoring, so please loop in your transplant team or pharmacist before mixing anything new with it. I'd personally steer clear of Ligandrol entirely.

Cyclosporine is prescribed to help prevent the body from rejecting a transplanted kidney, liver, or heart. It is often used alongside other immunosuppressive medicines as part of a full transplant care plan.

It is also used for adults with severe, active rheumatoid arthritis that hasn't responded well enough to methotrexate, and for adults with severe plaque psoriasis who haven't had success with other standard treatments.
