Here's the simple version: this isn't about one drug speeding up or slowing down the other. It's about doubling up on liver stress. Azathioprine (Imuran) can already irritate the liver in some people, which is why your doctor checks your liver enzymes with regular blood work. Ligandrol has been tied to liver injury in real-world case reports, so stacking the two could put extra strain on the same organ.

Watch for warning signs like yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain on the upper right side, nausea, or unusual tiredness. To be honest, Ligandrol is an unapproved SARM I wouldn't recommend at all, especially alongside an immune-suppressing medicine. Please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before mixing these.

About Azathioprine

What Is Azathioprine Used For?

Brand names: Imuran, Azamune

Azathioprine is used alongside other medications to help prevent the body from rejecting a kidney transplant (renal homotransplantation). It is also used to treat active rheumatoid arthritis — reducing signs and symptoms in adults who have not responded well enough to other treatments.

Other pain relievers such as aspirin, NSAIDs, or low-dose steroids may be continued alongside azathioprine for rheumatoid arthritis. Combining azathioprine with disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) has not been well studied and is not recommended.
