Fully half of the 106 supplements on file, 53 of them, appear because they stimulate immunity and could blunt the very effect you depend on. Another 38 add strain to the liver, an organ azathioprine can already stress, and that group includes the worst offenders: Siberian cocklebur, which has been linked to outright liver failure, plus alcohol from beer or wine.
