Azathioprine falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Testolone interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use might have additive hepatotoxic effects.
In a case report, a 52-year-old male was diagnosed with liver injury thought to be related to the use of products containing testolone. Also, elevated liver enzymes were commonly reported in a dose escalation study of testolone.

Here's the key thing to know: both of these can be tough on your liver. Azathioprine already carries a known risk of liver injury, and your doctor likely checks your liver enzymes with regular blood work because of that. Testolone (RAD-140) has its own liver-damage signal, including a case report of liver injury and raised liver enzymes seen in a dosing study. Stacking the two could add up and stress your liver more.

This concern is partly theoretical, but it's based on real reports, so I wouldn't brush it off. Honestly, Testolone is an unapproved, unregulated product I can't recommend for anyone. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before combining anything new with your azathioprine.

About Azathioprine

What Is Azathioprine Used For?

Brand names: Imuran, Azamune

Azathioprine is used alongside other medications to help prevent the body from rejecting a kidney transplant (renal homotransplantation). It is also used to treat active rheumatoid arthritis — reducing signs and symptoms in adults who have not responded well enough to other treatments.

Other pain relievers such as aspirin, NSAIDs, or low-dose steroids may be continued alongside azathioprine for rheumatoid arthritis. Combining azathioprine with disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) has not been well studied and is not recommended.
