Insulin Glulisine (rDNA) falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Oleic Acid interacts with.

Apidra (insulin glulisine) is a fast-acting mealtime insulin that lowers your blood sugar. The thinking here is that an eating pattern rich in oleic acid, mainly from olive oil, may nudge blood sugar a little lower on its own. If that happens while you are also dosing insulin, the two effects could add up and push you toward a low (hypoglycemia), with shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or confusion.
Honestly though, this is fairly mild and the evidence is limited. A Mediterranean-style diet using olive oil is generally a good thing for diabetes, and normal cooking amounts are unlikely to throw your numbers off much. Concentrated oleic acid supplements are less studied. Keep an eye on your readings, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before changing your insulin or starting a supplement.
