Theoretically, Oregon grape might increase serum levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research and preliminary clinical evidence suggest that berberine, a constituent of Oregon grape, moderately inhibits cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4).

Here's the gist with Oregon grape and fosaprepitant (Emend). Oregon grape contains berberine, which lab studies suggest can mildly slow down an enzyme called CYP3A4. Your body uses that same enzyme to help process fosaprepitant. So in theory, taking them together could let a bit more of the drug linger in your system, which might mean more of its usual effects like tiredness, hiccups, mild headache, or constipation.

I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical concern based mostly on test-tube data, not real patient reports, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Fosaprepitant is usually a one-time IV dose given during chemo, so the overlap is short. Still, mention any supplements to your oncology team or pharmacist so they can keep an eye on things.
