Here's the simple version. Naproxen (the pain reliever in Midol Extended Relief) already makes platelets a little less sticky, which is part of why it can irritate the stomach and raise bleeding risk if you use a lot of it. Pantethine may also nudge platelets to clump less easily, so taking the two together could, in theory, add up and make bleeding or bruising slightly more likely.

To be fair, this concern is mostly theoretical and the evidence is limited, so for most people an occasional dose isn't a big worry. Still, keep an eye out for things like easy bruising, nosebleeds, dark or bloody stools, or stomach upset. If you take naproxen often or use blood thinners, check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding pantethine.
