Here's the simple version: royal jelly may have a mild blood pressure lowering effect of its own, at least based on animal studies. Bosentan is used for pulmonary arterial hypertension, and while it mainly relaxes the vessels in your lungs, it can also nudge your overall blood pressure down a bit. Stacking the two together could, in theory, add up and leave you feeling lightheaded, dizzy, or faint, especially when you stand up quickly.

I want to be honest, though: this is a theoretical concern based on lab and animal data, not strong human studies. For most people it likely won't be a big deal. Still, since you're managing a serious condition, it's worth a quick chat with your doctor or pharmacist before adding royal jelly.

What Is Bosentan Used For?

Brand name: Tracleer

Bosentan is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) — high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs. In adults, it helps improve the ability to exercise and slows how quickly the disease gets worse.

In children aged 3 years and older with idiopathic (no known cause) or congenital (present from birth) PAH, bosentan is used to lower resistance in the lung blood vessels, which is expected to improve exercise ability. Tracleer is one brand approved for both adults and pediatric patients with PAH.
