Here's the thing to know about pairing these two. Carbinoxamine (Karbinal ER) is an older antihistamine, and on its own it already carries anticholinergic activity, meaning it tends to dry you out and slow some body functions. Scopolia is loaded with tropane alkaloids like atropine, hyoscyamine, and scopolamine, which work the same way. Stack them together and those drying, sedating effects can pile up.

What that looks like in real life: dry mouth, blurry vision, constipation, trouble urinating, a racing heartbeat, confusion, and heavy drowsiness, especially in older adults. This is a theoretical concern based on how both work, not hard human studies, but the logic is solid enough that I wouldn't combine them casually. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before using Scopolia alongside this medicine.
