Sonoma Diet and Sildenafil

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Sildenafil and Sonoma Diet in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — research on Sonoma Diet alongside specific medications may be limited.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Sonoma Diet at all — not against Sildenafil, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

Sonoma Diet is an eating pattern rather than something you take. Ask your pharmacist or doctor before changing how you eat while on a prescribed medicine: some medicines are dosed around meals, and a change in diet can change how they work. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

Sonoma Diet safety at a glance

Sonoma Diet overall Generally safe As a balanced whole-foods eating plan it is generally safe for most healthy adults.

Breastfeeding Use caution Nursing parents need extra calories and nutrients, so review any diet plan with a healthcare provider first.

Safety guidance is general; always confirm with your pharmacist or doctor for your situation.

What Sildenafil’s Own FDA Label Lists

This is not an interaction — none of it involves Sonoma Diet. These are the most notable effects listed in the ADVERSE REACTIONS section of Sildenafil’s own FDA label, for the medication by itself. Knowing the drug’s own list makes it easier to work out the likely cause if something new turns up while you follow Sonoma Diet and take the medicine. 2 of them are worth acting on rather than waiting out — marked below.

  • Hearing loss Worth acting on
  • Bleeding or bruising Worth acting on
  • Erection problems
  • Flushing
  • A stuffy or runny nose
  • Blurred vision
  • Back pain
  • Low blood pressure
  • Muscle pain
  • Stomach upset

From the ADVERSE REACTIONS section of the FDA label for Sildenafil. Read the label on DailyMed › Sonoma Diet’s licensed record lists no adverse effects our clinical vocabulary could match, so there is no Sonoma Diet side to compare — that is a limit of the record, not a statement that Sonoma Diet has no side effects.

“Sildenafil relaxes blood vessels, whether prescribed as Revatio for pulmonary hypertension or as Viagra, and that blood-pressure-lowering action makes this list one to treat with genuine care. Of the 160 supplement and herbal ingredients on file, five carry a major rating, and those deserve understanding first.”

Where does our data come from?
  • Source: the Natural Medicines (TRC Healthcare) clinical database — the evidence-graded professional reference for herb & supplement interactions. Sonoma Diet is not yet covered by that licensed database, so its write-up cites publicly available medical sources directly (see the references below).
  • Citation library: 103,510 references behind our interaction content, 65,311 of them resolved to verified PubMed/DOI sources. See every Sonoma Diet reference on this page ↓

About Sonoma Diet

What is Sonoma Diet?

  • Weight loss
  • Heart health
  • Blood sugar control
  • Mediterranean-style eating
  • General healthy eating

The Sonoma Diet is not a supplement or herb — it is a Mediterranean-style eating plan that emphasizes whole grains, lean proteins, healthy fats, vegetables, and portion control. It is generally considered a safe, balanced way to eat, but it is a food plan rather than a pill, so talk with your doctor or dietitian before making big dietary changes.

Eating plan (whole foods, meal plans, recipes, books)

An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Sonoma Diet is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Sonoma Diet record says about it on its own.

Sonoma Diet: dosing

There is no "dose" for the Sonoma Diet because it is an eating plan, not a supplement. Instead, you follow the plan's guidance on food choices, portion sizes, and meal structure, often described in its books or official materials. If you want to follow it, a registered dietitian can help you tailor it to your calorie needs, health conditions, and preferences.
