Here's the gist with choline salicylate (Arthropan), a liquid aspirin-type pain reliever. The concern isn't about Syrian Rue changing how this medicine works in your body. Instead, both can be tough on the liver. Salicylates in higher or regular doses can stress the liver, and large amounts of Syrian Rue seeds have actually been linked to liver damage and even liver failure in reported cases.

I'll be straight with you: this is a theoretical worry based on how each acts, not proven cases of the two together. Still, stacking two liver stressors isn't smart. The reported harm came from eating large amounts of Syrian Rue (up to 100 grams), not tiny culinary traces. Before mixing these, please check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
