Aminoglutethimide falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Zizyphus interacts with.

Theoretically, zizyphus might cause additive sedative effects when taken with CNS depressants.
Some animal research has found that various parts of zizyphus have sedative effects. However, other animal research shows that zizyphus plant extract does not alter sleep parameters when used in combination with pentobarbital.

Here's the simple version: aminoglutethimide (Cytadren) is a medicine that lowers hormone production, and one of its common side effects is feeling drowsy or sluggish, especially when you first start it. Zizyphus (jujube) has long been used as a calming, sleep-promoting remedy. The concern on file is that putting these two together could stack up that sleepy effect, so you might feel more tired, foggy, or dizzy than usual.

I want to be honest about how strong this evidence is: it's theoretical, based mostly on the way these things work and some mixed animal studies, not solid human research. Eating jujube fruit as food is unlikely to be a problem. A concentrated supplement is more worth asking about. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
