What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Circulatory Health against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. What’s inside
Full disclosure
GNC Mega Men Circulatory Health contains one active ingredient: Trans-Resveratrol, a compound found in grapes and red wine that's included here for heart and circulation support. The product also contains several inactive ingredients — microcrystalline cellulose, gelatin, stearic acid, and others — that serve as binders, capsule materials, and colorants.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence for resveratrol in this product is mixed. It's rated possibly effective for obesity and allergic rhinitis (hay fever), meaning some research supports it but the evidence isn't conclusive.
For cardiovascular disease and high cholesterol, the evidence we have suggests it's possibly ineffective — so if heart health is your main reason for taking it, the data doesn't back a strong benefit.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Resveratrol from food sources appears well tolerated, and supplement doses generally cause no major problems — though some people experience digestive upset, diarrhea, or loose stools, especially at higher doses. Long-term safety isn't fully established.
There's one case report of a skin rash that went away after stopping the product. A few people on peritoneal dialysis reported headache, fatigue, and memory loss, but it's unclear whether resveratrol was the cause.
Regarding pregnancy and breastfeeding, safety data is limited — the safety notes advise against concentrated supplements during pregnancy and recommend avoiding them while breastfeeding. Talk with your doctor or pharmacist about whether this product is right for you if you're pregnant or nursing.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Double-check this product before taking if you use blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (like warfarin or aspirin) — resveratrol may raise bleeding risk. Also confirm it with your pharmacist if you take muscle relaxants, anxiety medications, pain relievers, or other drugs your liver breaks down, since resveratrol may increase their levels in your body.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
GNC Mega Men Circulatory Health is a single-ingredient resveratrol supplement that may help with obesity and hay fever, though evidence is mixed for heart health. The main caution is with blood thinners and drugs your liver processes — resveratrol can interact with over 800 medications.
Before you take it, especially if you're on any prescription medications, check with your doctor or pharmacist to make sure it won't interfere.

Circulatory Health by GNC Mega Men Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
GNC Mega Men Circulatory Health contains Trans-Resveratrol, which has documented interactions with several medication types.
The most serious concern is with blood thinners and antiplatelet drugs (like warfarin and aspirin): resveratrol may increase bleeding risk when combined with these medications.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Resveratrol can also theoretically increase blood levels of drugs your liver breaks down through several pathways (CYP2C19, CYP1A2, CYP3A4, and CYP2E1 substrates), which may affect how well they work or raise their levels in your body. Most of these interactions are based on lab research and haven't been reported in people — though one study showed that 500 mg of resveratrol daily raised levels of a muscle relaxant (chlorzoxazone) by about 54%.
At typical supplement doses, the CYP3A4 interaction appears unlikely to cause problems, but higher doses may pose a risk.
Altogether, these interactions span 823 individual medications. Before you start this product, especially if you take blood thinners, muscle relaxants, or any prescription drug your liver processes, check your exact medications with the tool on this page or ask your doctor or pharmacist whether resveratrol is right for you.

Trans-Resveratrol
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Resveratrol may have antiplatelet effects and may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Resveratrol seems to have antiplatelet effects.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP1A2.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit CYP1A2 enzymes. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2C19 (Cyp2C19) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C19.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit CYP2C19 enzymes. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2E1 (Cyp2E1) Substrates
Resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2E1.
In vitro research suggests that resveratrol inhibits CYP2E1 isoenzyme. Also, a pharmacokinetic study shows that taking resveratrol 500 mg daily for 10 days prior to taking a single dose of chlorzoxazone 250 mg increases the maximum concentration of chlorzoxazone by about 54%, the area under the curve of chlorzoxazone by about 72%, and the half-life of chlorzoxazone by about 35%. Chlorzoxazone is used as a probe drug for CYP2E1.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit the CYP3A4 enzyme. However, clinical research shows that taking resveratrol 3000 mg daily for 8 weeks does not necessitate dose adjustments to medications metabolized by CYP3A4.
