What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product has one active ingredient: certified organic Lai Fu Zi extract, which is radish. Radish is a root vegetable that's been used traditionally, and this liquid form makes it concentrated compared to eating radish as food.
The inactive ingredients are vegetable palm glycerin, pharmaceutical-grade alcohol, and artesian Hawaiian purified water — standard carriers for a liquid extract.
Does it work?
Couldn't assess
The evidence for radish as a supplement isn't established in the data we hold. For biliary disorders and diabetes, we have insufficient reliable evidence to rate whether it actually works.
While animal studies suggest radish can lower blood sugar, we don't have the clinical trial evidence needed to say it's effective for people.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Radish is widely eaten as food and is generally well tolerated in normal dietary amounts. That said, concentrated supplements are less studied than whole food, so the safety profile isn't as clear at higher doses.
Large amounts may irritate your stomach lining or cause mild indigestion. Raw sprouts — whether radish or any other kind — should be avoided because of contamination risk.
A rare allergy to radish has been reported, with symptoms including throat tightness and hives.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
If you take any antidiabetes drug — insulin, metformin, glyburide, or others — check with your pharmacist before using this product. Radish can theoretically increase the risk of low blood sugar, a Moderate interaction.
No other medication interactions are documented for the ingredients we could check.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no assessable stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
If you eat radish regularly as food, this liquid extract is a concentrated form of something you already tolerate. But if you take diabetes medication, you need to check with your pharmacist first — radish can lower blood sugar and might push your levels too low.
Otherwise, for healthy people with no diabetes drugs, the main watch-out is stomach upset from larger amounts.
