Zeaxanthin is possibly effective for age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a condition affecting vision as you get older. For age-related cognitive decline, Alzheimer disease, asthma, breast cancer, and bronchopulmonary dysplasia, the evidence we hold is insufficient to rate whether it works.
