What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: organic Tribulus extract in a 100:1 concentration, meaning the extract is 100 times more potent than the raw plant material. There are no other inactive ingredients listed.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Tribulus shows possibly effective evidence for sexual dysfunction in adults. For athletic performance, the evidence suggests it is possibly ineffective.
The data we hold doesn't establish reliable evidence either way for benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate).
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Tribulus is generally well tolerated in the short term in healthy adults, but quality and long-term safety data are limited. Gastrointestinal side effects—abdominal pain, cramping, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation—can occur, though in one study these rates matched those of placebo.
Rare serious adverse effects including liver and kidney injury, seizures, and painful erection have been reported. Avoid this product during pregnancy because it may affect hormones and safety is not established.
Do not use while breastfeeding due to a lack of reliable safety information.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you use blood pressure medications, diabetes medications, or lithium. These are Moderate severity interactions where tribulus may lower blood pressure further, increase low blood sugar risk, or raise lithium levels in your blood.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence behind its ingredients' uses. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Tribulus may help with sexual dysfunction, but it can lower blood pressure and blood sugar, so anyone taking medications for those conditions should check with their doctor or pharmacist before starting. Because it interacts with lithium and spans a large number of other medications, it's important to review your exact prescription list with your healthcare provider.
Long-term safety data are limited, so stick with short-term use and talk over any side effects.

Organic Tribulus 100:1 Powder by Micro Ingredients Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Organic Tribulus 100:1 Powder by Micro Ingredients interacts with several medication types through its tribulus extract.
The most serious concern is with blood pressure medications (antihypertensives), where tribulus may lower your blood pressure further and raise the risk of dangerously low blood pressure (hypotension)—a Moderate severity interaction.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Tribulus also interacts with diabetes medications (antidiabetes drugs) at Moderate severity. It can lower blood glucose levels, which means your risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) may increase if you're already taking a medication to bring your glucose down.
Additionally, if you take lithium for mood disorders, tribulus may interfere with how your body clears it. Because tribulus has potential diuretic properties (it may increase urination), it could reduce lithium excretion and raise lithium levels in your blood, requiring a dose adjustment.
Altogether, these interactions span 259 individual medications. Use the search tool below to check your exact medications before you start this product.
