Every active ingredient lists its own amount on the label.

Why this rating?
  • The label discloses an exact amount for 1 of its 1 active ingredient.
  • No proprietary blends here — you can verify the dose of every single component.

This product contains one active ingredient: stevia leaf extract, a natural sweetener derived from the stevia plant. It's used as a sugar substitute in foods and supplements.

The liquid also includes three inactive ingredients — vegetable glycerin, deionized water, and natural peppermint flavor — which serve as the base and flavoring.

Evidence for Intended Use · database check
By FDA rules, dietary supplements can’t claim to treat, cure, or prevent disease — so labels speak in careful marketing language. We discern each product’s intended use from its name, label claims, and label statements, then grade the clinical evidence for that use. How these ratings are computed
Not assessable

This is a single-ingredient Stevia product and its label doesn't state a use — see Stevia's own graded uses on its monograph.

Why this rating?
  • We looked at the product name, claims, and label statements and couldn't find a stated purpose to grade.

The product facts we hold don't establish reliable evidence for stevia's effectiveness in managing diabetes, high blood pressure, or obesity. While preliminary research suggests stevia extract may reduce blood glucose after meals in people with type 2 diabetes, and some studies hint it might lower blood pressure in hypertension, the overall evidence is insufficient to rate.

You'd want to talk with your doctor about whether it fits your health goals.

How safe is it?

Well-documented data
Safety Information · database check
Well characterized

Adverse-effect, pregnancy, and general safety data are on file for most of these ingredients.

Why this rating?
  • We hold adverse-effect (side-effect) data for 1 of the 1 matched ingredient.
  • Pregnancy & breastfeeding safety ratings cover 1 of 1.
  • General safety write-ups exist for 1 of 1.
  • Remember: this measures how much safety information exists. Thin data is not the same as being safe.

Purified stevia sweeteners in typical food amounts are generally recognized as safe. However, stevia supplements and whole-leaf preparations haven't been well studied at higher doses, so use caution if you're taking this beyond small quantities.

When taken by mouth, stevia and its components are well tolerated overall. The most common minor side effects — bloating, dizziness, headache, muscle pain, nausea, and numbness — tend to ease or disappear after the first week.

Allergic reactions are rare but possible. The product facts don't include pregnancy or breastfeeding safety data for this ingredient, so talk with your doctor or pharmacist if you're pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

The bottom line

Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no assessable stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.

Stevia Wow!! is generally well tolerated as a sweetener, but if you take lithium, blood pressure medications, or diabetes drugs, you'll want to check with your doctor or pharmacist before using it. The evidence for managing diabetes, hypertension, or weight isn't established yet.

It's a straightforward sweetening option if you don't take those medications and you're okay with preliminary safety data on supplement-dose stevia.
