Bendroflumethiazide falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Stevia interacts with.

Theoretically, combining stevia or stevia constituents with antihypertensive agents might increase the risk of hypotension.
Stevia extract and stevioside might lower blood pressure in patients with hypertension. However, other clinical research suggests that stevioside does not significantly lower blood pressure in patients with hypertension.

Bendroflumethiazide is a water pill (thiazide diuretic) that lowers blood pressure by helping your body get rid of extra salt and fluid. The thought here is simple: some research suggests stevia, in concentrated supplement amounts, might nudge blood pressure down a little on its own. Stack that on top of a medicine that's already lowering it, and in theory the two together could drop it a bit too far.

I want to keep this in perspective. This is a theoretical concern based on how things work, not a strong or proven effect, and other studies show stevia didn't move blood pressure much at all. The tiny amounts used to sweeten coffee or tea are very unlikely to matter. If you notice dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling faint when standing up, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor.
