Bendroflumethiazide is a water pill (thiazide diuretic) that lowers blood pressure, partly by helping your body shed extra salt and fluid. American Hellebore is a different story. It's a genuinely poisonous plant that can drop your blood pressure hard and slow your heart rate, even in tiny amounts. This isn't about one drug slowing the breakdown of another. It's two things pushing your blood pressure and heart in the same dangerous direction at once.

Put together, you could feel dizzy, lightheaded, or faint, especially when standing up, and your pulse could become slow or irregular. Because the Hellebore part alone can be toxic, this is a combination to take seriously. Please don't use any American Hellebore product without first talking to your doctor or pharmacist.
