B12 is generally very well tolerated. Your body clears excess B12 in the urine, so there's no established upper limit — you don't need to worry about overdosing on it.

Oral tablets are the safest form; injection site reactions are only a concern if you get shots instead. Rarely, some people report allergic reactions like rash or itching, and in very rare cases, correcting severe B12 deficiency (megaloblastic anemia) has been linked to dangerously low potassium levels — but this is uncommon and your doctor watches for it.
