Clinical
Aquaphor Healing Petrolatum is a topical ointment containing petrolatum as its active ingredient. Petrolatum is a mineral oil-based emollient that is commonly used to help moisturize and protect dry skin. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established guidelines for this category of skin protectants. It is applied directly to the skin to help seal in moisture and soothe minor skin irritation.
