🩺 Clinical
This is an over-the-counter ear drop solution containing carbamide peroxide, a chemical that breaks down into oxygen and water when applied to the ear canal. Carbamide peroxide is commonly used in ear wax removal products because the oxygen bubbles help soften and loosen impacted ear wax so it can be more easily removed. The product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it is sold under FDA's established rules for this category of medicine rather than through individual product approval.
